New Delhi: Shahid Kapoor is very occupied with the extensive promotion of his upcoming film ‘Bloody Daddy’. He has certainly progressed from his humble beginnings as a background dancer with Shiamak Davar. Many people might know that Shahid has worked as a background dancer in Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Karisma Kapoor’s songs. It was at Shiamak Davar's dancing institution that he got his start as a dancer, and in a recent conversation, the actor shared the news that his daughter Misha is now a student at the same institute.
In an interview with Radio Nasha, Shahid reflected on the cyclical nature of life after seeing his daughter perform in a dance institute. He said, “My daughter is also doing classes with Shiamak. She had her performance so I had gone there to see it.”
Shahid Kapoor said that the well-known dancer Marzi was also in attendance and spoke with him about the good old days. “He asked me exactly the same thing and it felt like life has come full circle. I started there and today, my kids are going there and it still feels the same. It’s great energy there always,” he remarked.
Seeing his daughter dance at the same studio where he himself trained as a dancer brought back memories of his own time.
Shahid Kapoor and Mira had their daughter Misha in 2016, and then son Zain Kapoor in 2018. In 2015, Shahid and Mira tied the knot. The couple has lately relocated from their Juhu house to a luxurious flat in Worli with a sea view.
Meanwhile, Shahid is eagerly anticipating the premiere of Ali Abbas Zafar's latest flick, ‘Bloody Daddy’. It will premiere on JioCinema on June 9.
