New Delhi: Alice Kaushik has cleared the air after her boyfriend Kanwar Dhillon made some confusing comments regarding their relationship recently. During Alice's time in the Bigg Boss 18 house, rumours began circulating that Kanwar had proposed to her. Alice has now commented after her eviction, claiming that everyone "misunderstood" Kanwar Dhillon's remarks.

While speaking with Pinkvilla, Alice clarified that Kanwar's comment about not proposing for marriage remark was taken the wrong way. “I think what he meant was that we are not going to get married right away which I feel the same," she said. Additionally, she brought up an interview she had with Salman Khan, in which the star was questioned about marriage. “When Salman sir asked if I wanted to get married, I said ‘No sir, not for the next 5 years’. I said no. There was no denial it was just a misunderstanding," Alice said.

For the unversed, Alice had previously said that Kanwar had proposed to her and was prepared to marry her during her time on ‘Bigg Boss 18’. Nevertheless, Kanwar later denied proposing such a thing in an interview, leading to misunderstandings and some criticism.

Kanwar Dhillon Explains His Comment

Due to the negative response, Kanwar Dhillon clarified that his previous comments had been taken the wrong way. He confessed, “People perceived that in their own way and commented on it. Woh duniya ka kaam hai, tawa garam tha aur roti sekne aa gaye. They just commented watching the promo and didn't understand what I was trying to say.”

Alice shared that Kanwar was the first person she met after her eviction from ‘Bigg Boss 18’. She said, "I went straight to his place, met him, and his family. We have strong trust in our relationship, and if Kanwar has said something, there's definitely a reason behind it."
