New Delhi: Ex-Bigg Boss competitor and Haryanvi dancer Gori Nagori said that her brother-in-law and his friends attacked her at a wedding. She also said that the cops took selfies instead of filing a formal report. She has now taken to social media in an effort to get justice by sharing footage of the incident. Gori Nagori posted a video on Instagram showing the violent assault on her and her team by members of her own family. Her squad mates' wounds were also documented on film.
Sharing the incident, Gori Nagori wrote a long statement in Hindi which reads: "Hello friends, I am your Gori. I'm sharing this video to tell you what happened to me today, on May 22nd it was my sister's wedding. I live in Merta city and my father and brother aren’t there. There is an elder brother-in-law of mine, Javed Hussain who said that if you come for the wedding in Kishangarh, I will make all the arrangements.”
She further stated that she and her brother went to the police station. She said that the police officers took selfies with her instead of filing the complaint.
The SHO at Gegal Police Station, however, denied Gori Nagori's allegations. He said that Gori did go to the police, but she did not file a formal complaint. He also promised Gori full assistance if she choose to come out at any time to file a formal complaint.
Adding that her "life is in danger," the Bigg Boss 16 contestant pleaded with the government of Rajasthan to save her. She feared for her mother and herself because of the crowds outside.
