Ashneer Grover Defends Himself Against Salman Khan's Bigg Boss Comments, Says 'I Am Sure The Episode Got Great TRP'

Ashneer Grover, former 'Shark Tank India' judge and BharatPe co-founder, has finally spoken out about his interaction with Salman Khan on 'Bigg Boss 18'.

New Delhi: The ex-co-founder of BharatPe and previous judge on 'Shark Tank India', Ashneer Grover, has spoken out after Salman Khan's criticism of him on 'Bigg Boss 18'. Ashneer recently boasted about Khan on his official X account, praising the actor for his "great host" persona.

Ashneer Grover started off his tweet by praising the ‘Bigg Boss’ episode. He wrote, "I hope you enjoyed the Bigg Boss weekend ka vaar ! I had good fun. And I am sure the particular episode got great TRP / viewership. BTW all of statements below are true." 

The co-founder of BharatPe went on to say, "Salman is a great host & actor," complementing Salman's professionalism. 

He added, “Salman knows what works on Bigg Boss. I’ve always praised Salman for his sense of self and business - not a single thing demeaning said for him ever."

He went on to clarify that he had met privately with Salman Khan and that his "deal numbers are always correct" in response to the criticism of his earlier remarks.

In response to the Bigg Boss invitation, Ashneer said that the check for the appearance was valid and that the invitation was not "unnamed" as Salman had suggested.

In the video, Grover boasts about how he was able to get the endorsement from the celebrity via some clever negotiating.

Salman Khan questioned Ashneer head-on about these charges during his appearance on ‘Bigg Boss 18’ weekend episode. Salman challenged Grover's claims, saying that he had misrepresented the agreement. Ashneer seemed noticeably surprised by the encounter, and he stumbled over his words throughout the argument.

The footage of the discussion went viral on social media shortly. Internet users were quick to respond to the surprising confrontation between the businessman and Bollywood star, and Ashneer became the target of intense trolling later.
