New Delhi: Ayushmann Khurrana, an actor and singer on tour in the United States at the moment, was performing in New York when something out of the ordinary happened. An audience member tossed a stack of dollars onto the stage as a sign of gratitude, and a video of the actor pausing his performance has gone viral on social media.

Ayushmann Khurrana responded quickly and thoughtfully to the fan's action of throwing money at him while he was performing his spectacular set. Ayushmann kindly asked the crowd to use this money to give to a charity.

In the viral video, the actor can be heard saying, “Paaji, aisa na karein yar. Please don't do this. Aap uska charity kar dein, kuchh kar dein, ye mat karein aap please.”

He again urged, “Aap isko please charity khul ke karein, bina kisi ko bataye, bina kisi ko dikhaye. Main kya karunga iska? (Please do charity openly without telling anyone, without showing it to anyone. What will I do with it?)”

One audience member shared the footage of his gesture on Instagram.

Even though the interruption was short-lived, Khurrana's reaction to it further cemented his image as an intelligent and socially aware performer. His act has received a lot of appreciation.

Ayushmann Khurrana’s US Tour

Ayushmann Khurrana and his band, Ayushmann Bhava, are currently touring the United States, performing in five cities, including Dallas, San Jose, New Jersey, and New York, until November 24.

“As an artist, I always look forward to connecting with people who appreciate my music and movies. I like to see their reactions firsthand. I have tried, very carefully, to nurture them through my work and my efforts in reaching out to them. Making music and touring is definitely one big opportunity for me to meet people, interact, and engage with them while showing them who I am, what my core is, through my music. Moreover, I have also done musicals in college, so this is like homecoming for me!” he said in a statement, expressing his excitement for meeting fans and playing live.
