New Delhi: Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Mukesh and Nita Ambani, is set to get married to Radhika Merchant. Social media users are sharing the couple's invitation card, which details their pre-wedding festivities. Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding celebrations are scheduled to start on March 1, 2024, and go through March 3, 2024, according to the viral wedding invitation.
Mukesh and Nita Ambani have penned a handwritten note inside the card saying that they have decided to travel to Jamnagar, Gujarat, to mark the beginning of Anant Ambani's new chapter. The couple's invitation to the pre-wedding ceremony, which was leaked, showed plans for a three-day celebration at Reliance Greens in Jamnagar. It was decorated with lush greens and forest motifs.
Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita shared a heartfelt note, stating, "Reliance built the world's largest grassroots refining complex near Jamnagar. Over the years, we planted more than 10 million trees in this arid region."
In January 2023, the couple were engaged. Their engagement ceremony was done as per Gujarati rituals—featured old traditions including Chunari Vidhi and Gol Dhana. The most memorable part of the event at the time was a surprise performance put on by the Ambanis.
Anant opted for a dark blue kurta pajama, while Merchant wore a cream lehenga with elaborate embroidery.
Prior rumors stated that the couple would tie the knot in July 2024. Mukesh and Nita Ambani are parents to Akash Ambani, Isha Ambani, and Anant. Akash and Isha, their older children, got married in 2019 and 2020, respectively.
The couple has been acquainted for a long time; Radhika Merchant is the daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant. Anant, a graduate of Brown University, worked for Reliance Industries in several roles, including director on the boards of Reliance Retail Ventures and Jio Platforms. Merchant, on the other hand, is a director of Encore Healthcare and a graduate of New York University.
