New Delhi: Amitabh Bachchan is now in the spotlight due to reports that the superstar would give his daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda his Juhu jome, Prateeksha. The Prateeksha Bungalow is one of the priciest bungalows due to its enviable position. It is reported that the Bungalow is worth Rs 50 crore and the property's stamp duty of Rs 50.8 lakh was paid and registered on November 8. The Prateeksha mansion was originally held by Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, and now the parents have passed it to their daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda.

Amitabh Bachchan and his family resided in Prateeksha for many years during the beginning of his career. He also owns two more houses in Juhu -- Jalsa and Janak. The Bachchan family lives at Juhu's Jalsa Bungalow. It was gifted to the actor by filmmaker Ramesh Sippy.

Shweta Bachchan Nanda, Amitabh Bachchan's daughter, currently owns the opulent Rs 50 crore house Prateeksha. There has been no such announcement from Amitabh Bachchan and his family about the same.

Property records obtained by Zapkey revealed that Amitabh Bachchan had given Shweta two parcels of land in Juhu of 890.47 square meters and 674 square meters, respectively, as reported by Moneycontrol. The bungalow situated in the Vitthalnagar Cooperative Housing Society encompasses two plots, each with an area of 890.47 square meters and 674 square meters, respectively.

Prateeksha Bungalow was the site of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan’s wedding, and it was a magnificent occasion. For his son's wedding 16 years ago, Amitabh Bachchan had decorated the mansion like a bride. For the Bachchans, the Prateeksha house has special sentimental value.
