New Delhi: A deepfake video of Rashmika Mandanna has gone viral on social media, making her a victim of cybercrime. A worrying instance occurred when the video was cleverly edited to seem like the actress. A black-clad woman can be seen entering a lift in the footage. Her face, however, has been swapped out with that of the 'Pushpa' actress. There were claims that the video was false once it went viral, but Amitabh Bachchan had a different opinion.

One of the problems with AI's rapid development is the use of deepfake technology. This past weekend, a deepfake video featuring the Rashmika Mandanna surfaced online. Unconfirmed footage showed a woman who looked like Rashmika getting in a lift. After receiving a lot of attention, a journalist eventually confirmed that the video was an edit.

Amitabh Bachchan quickly caught sight of Rashmika's deepfake video and called for legal action to be taken against those responsible. The original video's woman was identified as British Indian Zara Patel, who has amassed a significant following.

In response to Rashmika's video, Amitabh wrote on X, "Yes this is a strong case for legal." Rashmika has not yet responded to the video.

On the work front, Rashmika Mandanna’s ‘Animal’ starring Ranbir Kapoor is set to open in theatres on December 1.

Meanwhile, Amitabh is doing a good job as host of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. It seems like Big B and Rajinikanth have started filming their movie on the big screen. After 33 years, Amitabh and Rajinikanth have reunited for a film temporarily titled ‘Thalapathy 170’. Recently, the pair travelled to Mumbai to film a few sequences.
