New Delhi: Janhvi Kapoor's rumoured relationship with Shikhar Pahariya has put her in the limelight lately. Amid this, the actress recently shared her views on the concept of arranged marriage. Janhvi Kapoor sat for a conversation with Netflix India as she promoted her recently released film ‘Mr And Mrs Mahi’. The sports drama was released on Netflix on July 26.

In the interview, Janhvi clarified that an arranged marriage is not for her. She said, “I don't see any harm in it. I don't think it is for me. I can understand the virtue of the institution. I can understand finding the right match.”

Janhvi Kapoor discussed the possible advantages of arranged marriages and said, “I think more important than finding the right match is if you trust your parents' choices and you know that they will choose the best for you. Then, I think sometimes it's nice to discover the person.”

“But I have seen this backfired when they leave everything to the parents and then in the process of discovering, you'll realise you've married a monster,” she concluded.

Janhvi Kapoor and Shikhar Pahariya’s rumoured romance

Janhvi Kapoor and Shikhar Pahariya’s connection was on full display during the extravagant Ambani wedding. They were seen together for the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.

The duo is often seen together, whether it's for quiet meals or trips to spiritual temples. Despite how often they are in the spotlight, Janhvi has not openly confirmed her relationship with Shikhar.

In April, Janhvi grabbed eyeballs and hinted at her relationship status with Shikhar by wearing a necklace that said "Shikhu" to the screening of Ajay Devgn's ‘Maidaan’.
