Geeta Sanon post on Adipurush

Now, it seems Kriti Sanon's mother Geeta Sanon shared a cryptic post on Instagram where she spoke about looking at people's emotions instead of their mistakes. Soon after Mrs. Sanon shared the post, netizens began questioning why she was supporting 'Adipurush'.

Taking to her official Instagram handle, Geeta Sanon wrote, "जय श्री राम 🙏🙏🌺🌺," alongside a post in Hindi which spoke about a philosophy of Lord Ram: 'Jaaki rahi bhavna jaisi, prabhy murat dekhi tin jaise', which meant that if you look at the world with a good perspective, you will see everyone and everything is beautiful.

A netizen wrote on Mrs. Sanon's post, "You shouldn’t support this anti Hindu film blindly. You should teach your daughter Hindu values instead of encouraging her in anti Hindu activities." Another wrote, "Aap adipurush ko support kar rahi ho, just because your daughter playing a role in it?? Sach me toh aapko bhi pasand nahi hai film😂."

Another user wrote, "I haven't watched the film because it's not shown in my country. But seeing the many arguments about how the story should be made, it's really unfortunate. How can everyone be right about his opinion & so easily provoke others to reject the film. See a work with positive vibes, appreciate & support their hard work. Every human being has his own perspective on his beliefs, just give tolerance that this is an art where there will definitely be many flaws & imperfections because it is humans who make it, not God. Greetings tolerance 🙏🏼."

While Nupur Sanon, Kriti Sanon's sister wrote, "Ekdum sahi:)."

Kriti Sanon on Adipurush

Earlier Kriti Sanon had commented on the flak 'Adipurush' has been facing by sharing a series of video clips which showed her entry or important scenes in the film and captioned the post, "Focusing on the cheers and claps! ♥️🙏🏻Jai Siya Ram 🏹🙏🏻♥️."

'Adipurush' has been the centre of controversy ever since the teaser of the film was released in October last year. Upon its release on June 16, the film faced a lot of criticism around its dialogues, screenplay and the general portrayal of characters of Lord Ram, Sita and Hanuman.
