New Delhi: Actor Aamir Khan, along with his ex-wife Kiran Rao and their 12-year-old son Azad, made a public appearance in the picturesque hill town of Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. The trio was spotted outside Woodstock School, where enthusiastic crowds gathered to catch a glimpse of the superstar. In a viral video, the actor was seen graciously signing autographs for fans gathered outside the school, creating a buzz of excitement.
According to reports from India Today, Aamir is in town for his son Azad's admission to the prestigious Woodstock School.
Images of Aamir, Kiran, and Azad arriving in Mussoorie quickly circulated across social media platforms, drawing attention from fans eager to meet the actor and capture selfies with him.
Despite their separation, Aamir and Kiran maintain an amicable co-parenting relationship for the well-being of their son Azad. Aamir and Kiran continue to collaborate professionally even after their divorce. Their upcoming project, 'Laapataa Ladies', directed by Kiran Rao and produced by Aamir Khan and Jyoti Deshpande, is set to hit screens on March 1, 2024. The film, based on an award-winning story ‘Two Brides’ by Biplab Goswami, promises an intriguing cinematic experience for audiences.
In an interview with SoSouth, Kiran said, “So honestly it doesn’t bother me. I do have to say at airports or any public place when people come to me and say, ‘You are…’ and they expect me to complete it and say, ‘I am Kiran Rao, Aamir Khan’s wife.’ I mean ex-wife. That bothers me because people kind of recognise me sometimes and they’re not sure but they know me through Aamir. That’s very annoying.”
Meanwhile, Aamir's daughter, Ira Khan, recently tied the knot with her boyfriend Nupur Shikhare in a grand ceremony in Udaipur, followed by a lavish reception in Mumbai.
