New Delhi: The three-day wedding festivities for Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare ended on Wednesday with a Christian ceremony. A fresh behind-the-scenes video from the festivities has now made its way onto Instagram, featuring the happy father dancing to his hit song 'Aati Kya Khandala' alongside his loved ones.
Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan married Nupur Shikhare in an intimate wedding ceremony in Udaipur. The newlyweds held hands and looked stunning as they made their way down the aisle. Recently, an exclusive clip featuring Aamir Khan dancing to his well-known song from the movie Ghulam appeared online. Aamir danced to his heart's content in the video, accompanied by a few of guests and family friends.
A video featuring Aamir discussing his state of mind was posted on Spice's Instagram account. He compared himself to a "Shehnaai," or musical instrument, and described how the sound it makes is a combination of joy and sadness.
Aamir, his ex-wife Kiran Rao, and their son Azad Rao Khan joined him on stage to perform the song 'Phoolon Ka Taaro Ka' during the sangeet ceremony the day before. And during the various pre-wedding festivities, Aamir was right by Ira's side. In a photo from Monday's mehendi ceremony, Aamir Khan wore a matching Nehru jacket and an ice-blue kurta pajama. A little star sign and other henna-made symbols were seen being applied on his palm.
On January 3, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare tied the knot in a formal wedding at Mumbai's Taj Lands End. Nupur had jogged from his residence to the arena, arriving in a vest and shorts. While Nupur dressed in a blue bandhgala suit instead of a vest and shorts for the reception, Ira looked stunning in a choli, dhoti pants, and dupatta.
