Urvashi Rautela took to social media to share pictures from the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival. What caught everyone’s attention was her Cartier neckpiece featuring two intertwined alligators.
New Delhi: Actor Urvashi Rautela is also one of the Indian celebs attending the Cannes Film Festival this year. The actor is at the film festival as part of the photocall launch for her upcoming film - a biopic on Parveen Babi. Urvashi took to social media to share pictures from the red carpet as she attended the premiere of Johnny Depp’s film ‘Jeanne du Barry.’
Urvashi opted for a Sima Couture pink tulle gown with tiered layers of floral ruffles for her first look. The actor complemented the whole look with a high, neat bun, a Cartier neckpiece, and hoops of the same design. What caught everyone’s attention was her Cartier neckpiece featuring two intertwined alligators. Though netizens liked her looked but were not impressed by the crocodile neckpiece.

Urvashi, who is at Cannes for the Praveen Babi biopic, had said in a recent statement, “Yes, you’ve heard right. I’ve officially signed and will be leading the Parveen Babi biopic as an actress. I’m truly grateful to Cannes Film Festival, as it's one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world and a significant career milestone.”
Urvashi was last seen in Akhil Akkineni’s film ‘Agent’.
Apart from Urvashi, Sara Ali Khan and Esha Gupta also walked the red carpet on the first day of the film festival. While Sara went all desi for her Cannes debut and opted for a lehenga by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, Esha Gupta wore a white collection dress from Nicolas Jebran couture.
