Britney Spears Deletes Her Instagram Account, Fans Concerned

The recent deactivation of Britney Spears' Instagram indicates that the singer is taking a break from social media.

New Delhi: Fans were alarmed when Britney Spears' Instagram account was suddenly deactivated on Wednesday afternoon, with some speculating that she was compelled to do so as a result of her candid revelations on the social media platform.

Spears didn't provide any updates to her fans regarding this. Officials from Instagram informed TMZ that they did not erase her account, which lends additional credence to rumours that Britney made the decision herself.

Sam Asghari, Spears' fiancé, has been active on Instagram but has made no mention of Spears' disable Instagram account.

Since her conservatorship was terminated in November, Britney has been spotted taking advantage of her newfound independence by routinely posting updates about her life on Instagram, where she has also lashed out at her family in public. 

It seemed like Spears' Instagram account was continually bombarded with fresh posts, from showing off a preview of her vacation with boyfriend Sam Asghari to her selfies.

Spears' Instagram account has been a go-to medium for the diva to express herself in her own words. As much as she has used her platform to talk about the high points of her life, Britney has also been known to use it as a weapon against those who have wronged her. 

Meanwhile, The pop sensation has recently inked a book contract that will allow her to give her side of the tale for the first time in a tell-all memoir that is said to be worth $15 million.
