Bengali Actress-Turned-Politician Nusrat Jahan Shares 'Faith Over Fear' Post Ahead Of The Delivery Of Her First Child

The TMC MP had earlier visited the hospital in Kolkata for a regular check-up on August 25. Nusrat's due date was reportedly said to be around the end of August or early September.

Bengali actress turned politician Nusrat Jahan has been admitted to Neotia Hospital in Kolkata and she may deliver her first child today, reads an online report. Meanwhile, ahead of her baby's delivery, the actress shared an emotional post along with a picture of herself(seemingly from the hospital) on Thursday morning with a caption that reads: Faith Over Fear ❤️ #positivity #morningvibes

The TMC MP had earlier visited the hospital in Kolkata for a regular check-up on August 25. Nusrat's due date was reportedly said to be around the end of August or early September.

A source close to actress was quoted by a website saying, 'She is scheduled to get admitted to the hospital either today or tomorrow'. A few months back, the actress had shared pictures flaunting her baby bump that went viral on social media. She captioned the post as, 'Kindness changes everything'.

Nusrat tied the knot with businessman Nikhil Jain in a destination wedding in Turkey in 2019. However, within months of their wedding, reports of trouble in Nusrat and Nikhil's marriage began doing rounds. Later the actress was also linked to her 'SOS Kolkata' co-star Yash Dasgupta.

Later, putting an end to all speculations, Nusrat had shared a statement with the media claiming that her wedding with businessman Nikhil Jain is invalid in India. 'Being on foreign land, as per Turkish Marriage Regulation, ceremony is invalid. It was an interfaith marriage, it requires validation under Special Marriage Act in India which didn't happen. As per court of Law, it's not marriage but relationship or live-in relationship,' her statement reads.

She also alleged that her belongings, like family jewellery and other assets, were 'illegally held back' by Nikhil's family.

Later, when the MP was asked to comment on rumours about her alleged relationship with Yash, she had said, 'People have always put me on trial. But this time, I am not going to comment. People can only judge me for my work as an actor and nothing else. Be it good, bad or ugly, it is my personal life and I am not going to share it with anyone.'

Meanwhile, a portal had reportedly quoted Nusrat's estranged husband Nikhil saying that Nusrat is not pregnant with his child.
