New Delhi: Shark Tank Season 1 judge Ashneer Grover makes headlines for various reasons. Recently, Ashneer Grover and his wife Madhuri made some explosive revelations about their relationship in Amrita Rai and RJ Anmol's podcast. The two opened up about their private life, how Madhuri made Ashneer 'unfollow' Mouni Roy and other celebs on social media, and other such things.


Ashneer Grover and Madhuri opened up about their early days in Mumbai when they lived in a 1BHK house in Mumbai after they got married. The couple also recently visited the building and recollecting old memories, Madhuri said during the podcast, "I would tell Ashneer to get tamatar (tomatoes) from outside the building before he would return from work. And now there are so many buildings.”


Madhuri and Ashneer moved to Mumbai from Delhi 16 years ago for work. Showing around the house, Madhuri said, "We didn’t have a table. We used to sit on the floor and eat. We used to buy one piece of furniture a month with our salaries.” Once Ashneer had won a Rs 12 lakh bike in an office lucky draw and Madhuri asked him what are the other prizes. She shared, “Ashneer said there is LCD TV. I told him to get the TV because I wouldn’t have let him ride that bike.”


Madhuri also recalled that they lived in Mumbai with a Rs. 48K salary of which 16K went in rent. Ashneer added that the two would also visit the USA and Canada as one dollar was Rs. 40 back then.


When Ashneer recalled that there was not anything special," There was just one bathroom.” Madhuri dropped an explosive statement, “Hum dono saath mein nahate the. There was just one bathroom and office jaane ka time bhi hota tha. Ashneer’s sister Asheema was also visiting us back then and she was shocked as we disappeared together."


The couple also shared that despite being ready to become parents, Madhuri and Ashneer had a complicated first pregnancy and were advised by the doctor to terminate the child. Madhuri shared, "Ashneer and I were ready to have a baby. And when you are ready to have a baby and the doctor advised us to terminate the baby, it was depressing. You don’t have the will but there is no option and you have to do it.”


Talking about their marital problems, Ashneer said that when they face challenges in marital life, they travel abroad.
