New Delhi: One of the most favourite celebrity couples of the country, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli welcomed their baby girl this year on January 11. The couple revealed the first picture of their daughter on social media with an adorable post, wherein the ‘NH10’ actress revealed the name of their newborn daughter’s name as Vamika.
As the ‘Band Baaja Baarat’ actress is currently busy spending time with her little munchkin, she shared a mirror selfie on her Instagram revealing her favourite piece of accessory. She captioned the post as, “Current favourite accessory - Burp cloth ! 😎✌️”
While sharing the first picture of her daughter, new mommy Anushka shared in a post, “We have lived together with love , presence and gratitude as a way of life but this little one , Vamika ❤️ has taken it to a whole new level ! Tears , laughter , worry , bliss - emotions that have been experienced in a span of minutes sometimes ! Sleep is elusive 😛 but our hearts are SO full ❤️ Thanking you all for your wishes , prayers and good energy 🤗”
Meanwhile, Virushka has earnestly requested the paparazzi to not click pictures of their daughter.
After the birth of Vamika, Virat Kohli took to his social media to share the happy news with everyone. He wrote in a statement, “We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Love, Virat.”
On the professional front, Anushka Sharma was last seen starring in the 2018 movie ‘Zero’ alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
