Ranbir's sister and jewellery designer Riddhima Kapoor Sahni took to her Instagram and shared her joy with her followers. She uploaded a picture of Ranbir and Alia and wrote on the picture: "Ooooffffff!! Happiest today (heart emoji). Proud parents to the most adorable baby girl #blessings. Bua (aunty) loves her already." In the picture, Alia can be seen giving a peck on Ranbir's nose.
Riddhima also spoke to Hindustan Times and revealed she is in France right now. “I am actually in France right now, but I can’t wait to see the newborn! We are all very excited in the family. My mom will FaceTime me the minute she sees her, I am so happy,” she told Hindustan Times.
Meanwhile, Alia’s mother Soni Razdan also took to Instagram to share her feelings on being a grandmon. She posted the announcement picture shared by Alia and wrote, “Oh happy day ! So much gratitude to life for this amazing wonderful blessing of a gift. Thank you all for your wishes of love. Our collective cup runneth over ♥️♥️♥️.”
Neetu Kapoor too shared the announcement and wrote, “blessings.”
