New Delhi: This year's most anticipated Bollywood wedding will take place in just a few days. According to reports, the pair will wed on April 15th. It's safe to say that fans are on pins and needles for a peek of the newlyweds on their big day.
Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, who has worked with both stars individually, remarked about them ahead of their wedding. Imtiaz Ali is a filmmaker who has worked with both Alia and Ranbir, recently spoke about the couple in an interview.
Imtiaz has collaborated with Alia on Highway and with Ranbir on Rockstar and Tamasha, and he has said that he has never encountered someone who is so similar to them in their approaches to work.
Times Of India reports that when asked about Alia and Ranbir's relationship, the filmmaker said, “Amongst the actors that I have worked with, there is no one more similar than Ranbir and Alia. To be alike as actors, you have to be alike as people as well. You need to be aligned in thought, and that’s the case with these two.”
He went on saying, “The fact that Ranbir and Alia are together, gives me immense happiness and pleasure. I am not going to say more (smiles), but I am extremely happy that people like that are grouping together. They are the purest form of actors that I have seen in my life.”
