New Delhi: Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan uploaded a few pictures of herself wearing make-up and sitting close to her father on Instagram. As they posed for the camera, we could see Aamir and Ira's big smiles on their faces.
Ira explained in her caption how her father 'claimed' that he could apply makeup, and the final look greatly astonished her.
Ira captioned the post, “Guess who did my make-up? It's interesting when your father walks up to you and claims he can do your make-up better than you can... and he turns out to be right. Who needs YouTube tutorials?!”
She had previously posted a lovely childhood snapshot of herself and Aamir, which she had simply captioned with a heart emoji, with her followers.
Ira is Amir's daughter from his previous marriage to Reena Dutta, and she is the mother of Junaid, their oldest son. Aamir Khan and his second wife, Kiran Rao, have a son, Azad Rao Khan. The couple, on the other hand, decided to part ways last year.
Aamir's personal life fell into a tailspin while he was focusing on his career. Aamir admitted to News 18 that his greatest regret in life was not being there for his daughter, Ira, when she needed him the most.
When discussing the topic, he said,"It’s my biggest mistake (not being able to spend enough time with kids). But I won’t blame my profession for it. Today, Ira is 23 but when she was 4-5, I wasn’t there for her. I was busy with films. Every kid needs their parents because when you are a child you have your own fears and hopes. But when she needed me the most, I wasn’t by her side to hold her hand when she would get scared. And, I know that moment will never come back."
Now, it looks like father and daughter are bonding over makeup and chit chats.
