A visiting card recovered from Bhargava showed that he runs a hospital in Kanpur. An MS in Surgery, Bhargava is a ‘whistleblower.’ For now, the accused has been handed over to IP Estate Police Station for further interrogation. Bhargava belongs to a Rasukhdar family in Kanpur. By profession, he is a doctor and a builder and also runs Bhargava Hospital in the city.
According to his recent Facebook post, Bhargava is dissatisfied with the incumbent government for not taking strict action against various corruption cases. In a Facebook updated posted on April 16, Bhargava wrote: "Over the past three years, 14 PSU employees have committed suicide. NaMo in 2014 - Na khaunga na khaane dunga. NaMo 2019 – NO voice against corruption within the Government."
"On the one hand a dozen of employees of 'Lal Imli Mills' have resorted to suicide and on the other hand, the 11 properties where the deal was cancelled in the year 2008, valued at Rs 450 CRORES are being held captive by the agreement holders on the advance of only Rs. 11 CRORES deposited with the British India Corporation Ltd," his post read further.
ABP News sources say that Bhargava, who is also a builder, bought as many as three bungalows of British India Corporation. He bought these bungalows for a whopping amount of Rs 11.5 crores on his mother's name during bidding. However, it is strange that he mortgaged his hospital to buy these properties.
