New Delhi: Celebrations began at the BJP headquarters in Lucknow after the trends indicated a thumping victory for the saffron party in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly election. Saffron shawl-clad supporters started pouring in at the Lucknow BJP headquarters from afternoon on Thursday.
One such supporter was Navya, a 1.5-year-old child who came at the BJP headquarters in Lucknow dressed as Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, news agency ANI reported.
Navya was joined by her parents. She carried with her a toy bulldozer in hand. The image of Navya as she arrived at BJP office in Lucknow has gone viral on social media.
She also put a chandan on her brow to look just like Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. She also wore a rudraksha mala to appear more eloquent.
Similarly, a boy dressed as Aam Aadmi Party national leader Arvind Kejriwal and CM candidate Bhagwant Mann celebrates the victory of the party in the Punjab Assembly elections 2022.
On ANI's official Twitter handle, a photo of a little child wearing a yellow turban and a muffler identical to Kejriwal's was shared. The youngster is the AAP's supporter's son.
UP Election 2022
The BJP-led alliance is ahead in almost 265 seats in the 403-member Uttar Pradesh Assembly, according to the latest trends.
All of the ministers running for re-election in the present Uttar Pradesh government cabinet are also in the lead in their respective constituencies.
However, recent trends appear to be discouraging for the Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Congress, and other contestants.
According to current statistics, the Samajwadi Party-led alliance is ahead in just 133 seats. However, former chief minister and Samajwadi Party supremo Akhilesh Yadav is leading in the Karhal Assembly seat.
