New Delhi: Rajya Sabha MP and Aam Aadmi Party senior leader Raghav Chadha has been aggressively campaigning in Gujarat ahead of Assembly polls, due next month, boasting about Arvind Kejriwal and using iconic dialogues from Bollywood movies to do the same.

On Wednesday, he used a dialogue from the movie ‘Sholay’ to campaign for the party in Gujarat's Kankrej Vidhan Sabha. During a rally here, he said that corrupt leaders are unnerved from Arvind Kejriwal and now their mothers tell them, "soja beta warna Kejriwal aa jaayega aur tumhe jail me daal dega” (sleep otherwise Kejriwal will come and send you to jail).

He also said that Arvind Kejriwal was born only to end inflation and corruption from the country.

Chadha has been holding large-scale public meetings and rallies in different areas of Gujarat for the past several days.

A day earlier, while holding a public rally in Gujarat's Dhangadhra, he used a dialogue from a Salman Khan movie to campaign for the party and praise Kejriwal.

During the rally Chadha said, "Arvind Kejriwal ne ek baar guarantee de di phir wo khud ki bhi sunte" (once Arvind Kejriwal guarantees something, then he does not listen to even himself), a spin-off of Salman Khan's dialogue from the movie 'Wanted'.

Earlier he took a dig at the Bharatiya Janata Party using dialogue from Amitabh Bachchan’s famous movie Deewar. Alleging that the saffron party uses government agencies like Enforcement Directorate and CBI for its political gain, Chadha said that Kejriwal had the blessings of Lord Krishna and the support of Gujarat’s people.

“These BJP people make fun of us. They say BJP has everything — ED, CBI, Police, media, money, what do you have? I respond by saying that we have Arvind Kejriwal who has got blessings of Lord Krishna and support of people of Gujarat,” the AAP MP said.
