Several party members on Saturday chanted slogans against state minister Zahida Khan, resulting in dramatic scenes at the Congress party headquarters in the national capital, news agency IANS reported. On Saturday afternoon, Khan arrived at the party headquarters. When she went to meet senior party leader Jitendra Singh, party activists began screaming shouts against her. Angry party workers accused Khan of harassing them in her assembly constituency of Kama in Rajasthan by claimed state minister aides.
The party workers also stated that the minister be replaced in the state assembly elections by another candidate.

The protest comes before of the party's Screening Committee meeting, which is planned on Saturday in the national capital at 15 GRG.
On October 17, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge will convene the Central Election Committee (CEC) to decide the candidates for the next assembly elections.

Rajasthan Election 2023
The voting for Rajasthan Assembly elections 2023 will be held on November 23 and votes will be counted on December 3. The election will be held in a singe phase, the Election Commission of India (ECI) announced on Monday.
Rajasthan will witness a frontal struggle between the BJP and the Congress, with the saffron party hoping to overthrow the Ashok Gehlot-led government by riding the anti-incumbency wave.
The outcome in Rajasthan, which goes to polls alongside Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Mizoram, and Madhya Pradesh, will be a harbinger of what is to come in the national elections in 2024.
