Ahead Of Lok Sabha Polls, PM Modi To Attend Programmes In 12 States, UTs In Next 10 Days

The PM Modi has been unveiling a slew of development projects running into lakhs of crores of rupees at various places as he turns the spotlight on his govt's development ahead of general elections.

New Delhi: Ahead of the Lok Sabha Polls, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to attend 29 programmes spanning 12 states and Union territories over the next 10 days. As per officials, he will be visiting Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Delhi.

According to new agency PTI, PM Modi's packed schedule will see him inaugurating multiple development projects in Adilabad, Telangana on Monday, followed by a visit to Bharatiya Nabhikiya Vidyut Nigam Limited (BHAVINI) in Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu. He will also address public gatherings in both Adilabad and Chennai, the officials said.

Notably, PM Modi will launch several projects in Sangareddy, Telangana, on March 5, before heading to Odisha to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for numerous developmental projects. He will later address a public meeting in Chandikhole, Odisha.

The PM will then visit to West Bengal on March 6, will unveil development projects in Kolkata and address a public gathering in Barasat. His itinerary further extends to Bihar, where he will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for multiple developmental projects in Bettiah, PTI cited officials as saying.

On March 7, PM Modi is scheduled to visit Jammu and Kashmir before attending a media event in Delhi later in the evening. March 8 marks his participation in the inaugural National Creator's Award in Delhi, followed by his journey to Assam in the evening. In Arunachal Pradesh's West Kameng, PM Modi will inaugurate the Sela tunnel, a monumental infrastructure project, before unveiling multiple development initiatives in Itanagar, reported PTI.

PM Modi Will Unveil The Statue Of Ahom Army Commander Lachit Borphukan 

PM Modi's presence in Assam extends to commemorating the legendary Ahom army commander Lachit Borphukan with the unveiling of his statue in Jorhat, followed by inaugurating and laying the foundation stones of various developmental projects in the region. Additionally, PM Modi's itinerary includes a visit to West Bengal, where he will launch development projects in Siliguri and address a public gathering.

On March 10, the Prime Minister is set visit Uttar Pradesh, dedicating several projects to the nation in Azamgarh. Following his event in Delhi related to the 'Namo Drone Didi' and 'Lakhpati Didi' programmes, PM Modi will inaugurate the Haryana section of the Dwarka Expressway, enhancing connectivity in the region. Later in the day, he will attend  a Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) programme, as per PTI.

On March 12, PM Modi will visit to Sabarmati in Gujarat and Pokhran in Rajasthan, symbolizing strategic and developmental initiatives in these regions. The following day, he is set to lay the foundation stones of three crucial semiconductor projects in Gujarat and Assam via video conferencing, emphasizing the government's focus on technology and manufacturing.

Additionally, an outreach programme for disadvantaged sections of society, conducted via video conferencing, highlights Modi's dedication to inclusive governance and empowerment, reported PTI.
