Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday attacked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on the party's claim of resolving to reintroduce Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. Referring to the NC-Congress alliance's resolution on Article 370 in the Jammu & Kashmir Assembly last week, Shah said: "These people [Congress] have practised appeasement politics all their lives... We made Kashmir an integral part of India. But say they will bring back Article 370."

"Let me tell Rahul Gandhi, even if Indira Gandhi returns from the heavens, Article 370 cannot be reintroduced. Kashmir is ours and it will remain so," Shah said.

He further said there would be no reservations for Muslims come what may. He said even Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's fourth generation will not be able to see reservations for Muslims.

Addressing a public meeting in Dhule, Maharashtra, said: "PM Narendra Modi has appointed 27% ministers from the OBC community... Every Central institution has 27% reservations for the OBC and SC/ST communities. But Rahul Baba [Rahul Gandhi] has said that reservations should be given to Muslims." Shah said that if reservations were to be allotted to Muslims, the share of SC/ST communities would be reduced.

"Let me tell Rahul Gandhi that even if his fourth generation comes, Muslims won't get reservations," Shah said.

Shah took a dig at the Opposition in Maharashtra, saying: "The Maha Vikas Aghadi is a fan club for Aurangzeb. Whereas the Mahayuti comprises followers of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj."

Amit Shah also raked up the waqf property laws issue, alleging that temples and farmers' lands are being converted to waqf properties. "It's a challenge to Rahul Gandhi. Narendra Modi will change waqf board laws."
