PM Modi In Jharkhand: In a scathing attack on Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and the Congress alliance in Jharkhand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Friday that the two parties and their partners are giving shelter to infiltrators in the state. He also claimed that they are grabbing the land of the tribals, and they are doing anything for their vote bank.
While speaking at a rally in Singhbhum, the Prime Minister said, "Congress, JMM and their partners are doing anything for their vote bank. They are giving shelter to infiltrators in Jharkhand, grabbing the land of Adivasis. They played the same game in West Bengal; people in the Adivasi areas of West Bengal are suffering from terror of infiltrators."
JMM and Congress are also part of the opposition alliance I.N.D.I.A formed to take on the Bharatiya Janata Party led by PM Modi in the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections.
During the rally, the Prime Minister came down heavily at the Congress, saying that the grand old party does not respect the Adivasi (tribal) history and they do not want the tribals to progress. "You must be aware of what Congress and its friends say. Congress doesn't respect Adivasi history, and they don't want the tribals to progress. President Droupadi Murmu was earlier the Governor of Jharkhand; Congress and INDI bloc opposed the appointment of an Adivasi woman as the President of India," PM Modi said.
