Phase 2 Voter Turnout Till 1 PM: The voter turnout till 1 PM showed diverse figures for the second phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024 currently underway on 88 seats across 13 states and one Union Terriotory of Jammu and Kashmir. As per the data released by the Election Commission of India (ECI), Tripura maintained lead with highest voter turnout at 54.47 per cent while it remained lowest in Maharashtra at 31.77 per cent.

Polling For Second Phase Begins
Voting for for 88 constituencies spanning across 13 states and a Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir commenced at 7:00 am on Friday during phase 2. This phase is a significant one as senior BJP leaders and key opposition leaders including Rahul Gandhi and Shashi Tharoor from Congress, alongside Union Ministers Gajendra Singh Shekhawatm Kailash Choudhary, and Rajeev Chandrashekhar are contesting in phase 2.
