Phase 2 Voter Turnout Till 9 AM: The voter turnout till 9 AM showed diverse figures across 13 states in the second phase of Lok Sabha elections undergoing on 88 seats. As per the data released by the Election Commission of India (ECI), Tripura witnessed a turnout of 16.65%, while Maharashtra recorded a comparatively lower figure of 7.45%.

Lok Sabha Polling For Second Phase Begins

Voting commenced at 7 AM on Friday on eighty-eight constituencies spanning across 13 states and a Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. This phase of polling has garnered significant attention from both senior BJP leaders and key opposition leaders. Contesting in closely fought battles are Rahul Gandhi and Shashi Tharoor from the Congress party, alongside Union Ministers Gajendra Singh Shekhawatm Kailash Choudhary, and Rajeev Chandrashekhar. 

The polling on these seats follows the first phase held on April 19, which covered 102 constituencies. Here are the states and key constituencies going to polls under second phase today:
