New Delhi: In a fiery address at a rally in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a blistering attack on the Congress, SP, and I.N.D.I.A bloc. PM Modi said, "Yesterday the kind of manifesto released by Congress reflects the same thinking that was prevalent in the Muslim League at the time of independence. The Congress manifesto completely bears the imprint of the Muslim League and the remaining part of the manifesto is dominated by the leftists".
PM Modi further tore into the Congress party, criticising its newly released manifesto as a "bundle of lies" and alleging that it harbors intentions of dismembering India. PM Modi drew parallels between the Congress manifesto and the ideology of the Muslim League during India's independence era.
He further said, "The Congress Party is not holding a rally to win the elections, it is holding a rally to save the corrupt. No matter how much he keeps saying, Modi's fight against corruption will continue".
PM Modi once again questioned Rahul Gandhi's stance against 'Shakti' (power), asserting that India has always revered the notion of power. Modi lamented that it is unfortunate for the nation that members of the I.N.D.I.A. are openly challenging this idea.
Modi Has Pulled Down The Shutter Of Their Loot Shop: PM On Opposition
The Prime Minister went on to mount an attack on the opposition parties, accusing them of treating the looting of public funds as a family entitlement. PM Modi asserted that his government has effectively put an end to this practice over the past decade. "Modi has pulled down the shutter of their shop of loot. That is why they are in a panic," he remarked.
PM Modi said that the welfare of the poor has not been just an election announcement but a mission for the BJP. "What the Congress could not do in decades, the BJP did in two decades. In the years that the Congress was in power, it preferred to eat commissions. The I.N.D.I.A. is only for commission and NDA is for Modi government mission," he remarked.
On April 19, eight parliamentary constituencies in Uttar Pradesh, including Saharanpur, Kairana, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Nagina (SC), Moradabad, Rampur, and Pilibhit, are slated to cast their votes in the first phase of the Lok Sabha polls. The counting of votes will be held on June 4.
