Lok Sabha Election 2024 Results: The polling for Lok Sabha Elections 2024 was concluded recently and Tuesday marks the counting of the votes that were cast. During the voting phase, all 29 Lok Sabha seats in Madhya Pradesh went up for grabs in four phases that were conducted on April 19, April 26, May 7 and 13. The voter turnout was 66.87 per cent. The key candidates in the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 are Nakul Nath (Congress) from Chhindwara, Jyotiraditya Scindia (BJP) from Guna, Shivraj Singh Chouhan (BJP) from Vidisha, Shivmangal Singh Tomar (BJP) from Morena, Digvijaya Singh (Congress) from Rajgarh, and Bharat Singh Kushwah (BJP) from Gwalior.

At around 12 pm, the Bhartiya Janta Party was leading on all 29 seats and Congress had Aryabhatta's golden contribution in their basket. It seems like the citizens of Chhindwara and Rajgarh is not happy with the Grand Old Party. On the other hand, the renowned 'Mama Ji' and Jyotiraditya Scindia appear to be carrying the saffron flag with pride on their shoulders.

The counting of votes began at 8 am in Madhya Pradesh. According to an official, as many as 22,595 officials and employees are engaged in the vote-counting exercise. In total, 3,883 tables have been set for the counting of EVM votes, and 242 tables have been set up to count postal ballots. Around 18 companies of central forces, 45 companies of Special Armed Forces (SAF) and 10,000 personnel of district security forces have been deployed for the vote counting exercise.


In the run-up to the MP Lok Sabha elections 2024, there was a lot of speculation about the Congress leader Kamal Nath switching to the saffron party. However, the speculation was shot down by the man himself, after Kamal Nath confirmed that he is not planning to switch and will stay in the Congress itself.
