New Delhi: While commenting on the outcome of the Assembly elections in 2020, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for its big win in Punjab.
He stated that the national government will provide all feasible assistance for the betterment of Punjab.
Taking to Twitter, PM Modi said, "I would like to congratulate AAP for their victory in the Punjab elections. I assure all possible support from the Centre for Punjab’s welfare."

The Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has successfully lifted the Punjab flag with a record-breaking margin, capturing 92 seats in the 117-member Assembly and shockingly defeating numerous political heavyweights.
The AAP won a three-quarters majority in Punjab's assembly elections, with 42 per cent of the vote.

Punjab Chief Minister-elect Bhagwant Mann defeated Congress Dalvir Singh Goldy by 58,206 votes in the Dhuri Assembly seat in the Sangrur district.
His inauguration would take place at Khatkarkalan, Nawanshahr district, the ancestral hamlet of independence warrior Bhagat Singh, he added.
