The Aam Aadmi Party released its second list of candidates on Tuesday for the upcoming assembly elections in Haryana. The party announced candidates for nine seats including Sadhaura, Thanesar, Indri, Ratia, Adampur, Barwala, Bawal, Faridabad, and Tigaon. The development comes just a day after AAP announced that it will not forge an alliance with the Congress in the state for the assembly polls.

The nine candidates that have been fielded by the party include: Rita Bamaniya (Sadhaura), Krishan Bajaj (Thanesar), Hawa Singh (Indri), Mukhtiyar Singh Bazigar (Ratia), Buphendra Beniwal (Adampur), Chhatar Pal Singh (Barwala), Jawahar Lal (Bawal), Pravesh Mehta (Faridabad), Abash Chandela (Tigaon).

The Arvind Kejriwal-led party ended the supsense over the alliance in the state after it released first list of candidates on Monday with September 12 deadline for nomination approaching close. The decision came after prolonged talks between Congress and Aam Aadmi Party yielded no result. As per reports, Aam Aadmi Party demanded 10 of 90 assembly seats under a seat sharing formula but the Congress was ready to give only seven seats.

Earlier in the day, party's state unit chief Sushil Gupta said they waited till an appropriate time for the Congress.
