Exit Poll Result 2023: Reactions have started coming in over exit poll results that were released this evening for Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and Mizoram.
The Assembly elections commenced with Mizoram and Chhattisgarh on November 7. Chhattisgarh conducted elections in two phases on November 7 and November 17, while Madhya Pradesh held its assembly elections on November 17. Rajasthan followed with elections on November 23, and finally, Telangana conducted it on November 30.
Exit polls predicted an edge to the Congress in Telangana and Madhya Pradesh, while Rajasthan is likely to stay true to its 'revolving door' trend and see a return of BJP to power, according to ABP-CVoter.
A neck-and-neck fight is predicted in Chhattisgarh, with Congress placed marginally ahead. While in Mizoram, the Zoramthanga-led Mizo National Front (MNF) may fall short of a majority but still emerge as the largest party in the hill state, predicted ABP-CVoter.
Here's How Leaders Reacted To Exit Poll Results:
Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao: "I promise you, for those of you who are friends of BRS and want KCR to come back..., I promise you on December 3 (counting day) we are coming back. We are coming back with anywhere above 70 seats."
Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan: "I have always said that there is no competition in Madhya Pradesh and BJP is going to get a clear majority. The love and guidance of PM Modi, the strategies of Amit Shah, the leadership of JP Nadda, the efforts of our workers and the schemes of our government made it clear that BJP is getting a majority in the state."
Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel: "Let the exit polls run, we will form the government with full majority."
