Congress Releases 'Nyay Geet' With Focus On Farmers, Women, Youth Ahead Of Lok Sabha Polls

The Congress has released a song featuring Rahul Gandhi promising to deliver justice or 'Nyay' to the deprived ahead of the Lok Sabha polls.

As the Lok Sabha election season hots up with every passing day, the Congress released its song of justice or the 'Nyay Geet' featuring Rahul Gandhi and glimpses from his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra with the promise of delivering justice to those deprived. The two-minute and 34-second-long video speaks of the party's 'five pillars of justice' and 'guarantees' to youngsters and highlights the raging issues of MSP law demand by farmers. The song also talks about the youth, employment and women -- issues that the Congress have shaped its campaigns on in recent years and ahead of the crucial elections.

Rahul Gandhi along with other leaders of the party shared the video of the song on social media. Rahul said, "The dreams of those who have been left behind will also be fulfilled! This song of justice is the music of the coming of the dawn in the lives of the deprived." The song talks about the five "pillars of justice" and "guarantees" for the youngsters.

The Congress declared justice for youth, women, farmers, workers, and participatory justice as the five pillars of justice.

The party has promised the right to employment and apprenticeships for the youth in its poll pitch in a series of assurances. While addressing a rally in Rajasthan's Banswara, Rahul Gandhi promised 30 lakhs government jobs if the party was voted to power.

"In our manifesto, we have done revolutionary work for farmers. For the first time in India, we have made a law to provide a legal guarantee of MSP for them. Farmers who are going to Delhi and being stopped, we have fulfilled their demands in our manifesto," Gandhi said.

The schedule for the Lok Sabha poll 2024 is likely to be announced by the Election Commission of India on March 14 or 15, sources told ABP News. While the polls could be held in seven phases like in 2019, the first phase of voting is likely to be conducted in the second week of April.
