After the Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress revealed their seat-sharing arrangement for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari on Sunday called the party leaders as "chor chor mausere bhaai" (two thieves are maternal cousins), news agency ANI reported.

In a video shared by ANI on its official X handle, Tiwari stated: "You must have heard 'chor chor mausere bhai'. That is what is happening between AAP and Congress."

"AAP workers are disappointed because Arvind Kejriwal used to speak about putting Congress leaders in jail but he is now at their feet...Congress workers are disappointed too. Arvind Kejriwal and AAP had ousted Congress from their 15 years of rule and now Kejriwal is sharing the stage with Rahul Gandhi...BJP and Narendra Modi are in everyone's hearts...People of Delhi will decide everything because today it is clear that the top leaders of AAP and Congress are one and the same," he further stated.

Gujarat BJP Chief CR Patil claimed that BJP will win all the 26 lok sabha seats in the state. Speaking with media, he stated: "Under INDIA Alliance, Congress will contest on 24 and AAP on 2 of the total seats in the state...Ahmed Patel was considered a very stong leader, still he lost (Bharuch). Today, I don't think AAP will perform well here. They will face a crushing defeat here...I can assure you that the BJP will win all 26 seats."

Earlier today, the AAP and Congress announced their seat-sharing arrangement for Delhi, Gujarat, Goa, and Haryana, stating that the AAP will contest four Lok Sabha seats in Delhi and the Congress three.
