Chhattisgarh Assembly Elections: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said on Wednesday that PM Narendra Modi is a liar who promised to deposit Rs 15 lakh in people's accounts, but didn't.
"PM came here and promised you Rs 15 Lakhs. Did you receive it? He said demonetisation will wipe out black money. Did it happen? He said farmers will benefit from the Farm Bill. Farmers themselves rejected the Bill...You know who speaks the truth and who lies," Rahul Gandhi said.
Ahead of the assembly elections in Chhattisgarh, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi visited the Naxalite-affected state and attended a public meeting. During his address in Chhattisgarh's Ambikapur, the former Congress chief said that the BJP snatches the rights of Adivasis, whereas Congress ensures they get their proper dues.
"BJP calls you 'vanvasi', we call you 'adivasi'. BJP snatches away your rights, we provide you with your rights. We hug you and BJP urinates on you. BJP leaders urinate on you and make videos of it viral so that the entire country watches it," he further stated.
