The Bharatiya Janata Party, ahead of the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, has extended an invitation to the representatives of eighteen political parties from ten different countries to gain first-hand experience and insights into the election campaign of the largest political party in the world. This visit is part of BJP's global outreach program ‘KNOW BJP’ which was launched by the party's National President JP Nadda on BJP's 43rd Foundation Day.


The information was shared by the saffron party's In-charge of foreign affairs department Vijay Chauthaiwale on Wednesday in a press release.


The representatives are scheduled to meet JP Nadda on Wednesday (May 1) at the party headquarters in Delhi.


Later, they will also be interacting with the Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar and Union Minister of Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw, the statement noted.


The representatives will also be briefed about the BJP's election campaign strategies as the party has been intensely campaigning to achieve a third term by with an aim of securing a win by wresting 400 seats across the country.


As per the statement issued by the party, the representatives will also be briefed about the overall Electoral process of India.


The 10 parties that have been invited by the BJP include Australia's Liberal Party, Bangladesh's Bangladesh Awami League, Israel's Likud Party, Russia's United Russia Party, Tanzania's Chama Cha Mapinduzi, Uganda's National Resistance Movement, and Vietnam's Communist Party of Vietnam.


In addition to these two parties from Sri Lanka--Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna and United National Party and four from Mauritius-Mauritius Labour Party, Militant Socialist Movement, Mauritian Militant Movement, and Parti Mauricien Social Democrate, will also be visiting India on BJP's invite.


The saffron party has also invited representatives of Nepal's Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist),Nepali Congress, Rashtriya Swatantra Party, Janamat Party, and Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist).
