Battle For Andhra Pradesh Assembly: Jagan Seeks Second Term, Naidu Relies On Anti-Incumbency 

After an intense campaign period in Andhra Pradesh, the stage is all set for voting across all 175 assembly seats in the state on Monday. In this triangular contest, YSRC, Congress-led I.N.D.I.A bloc, and the NDA, which includes BJP, TDP, and Jana Sena Party, are vying for Victory. 

TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu aims to capitalise on anti-incumbency sentiments, while Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy relies on his government's welfare initiatives. 

Besides the assembly polls, the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections for 96 constituencies, including all 25 seats in Andhra Pradesh, is also scheduled for Monday. 

Voting will commence at 7 AM, and continue till 6 PM, except in certain areas where it will conclude an hour earlier.

Odisha Gears Up For Dual Battle: 4 LS Seats, 28 Assembly Segments Go To Polls 

Odisha is set to witness simultaneous elections to four Lok Sabha constituencies and 28 Assembly segments on Monday. Voting will take place in Berhampur, Koraput, Nabarangpur, and Kalahandi Lok Sabha constituencies, along with 28 Assembly segments.  

The electoral landscape comprises 37 candidates for Lok Sabha polls and 243 nominees vying for assembly seats. 

All major parties, including BJP, Congress, and BJP, are contesting across all constituencies, while smaller regional parties and independent candidates have also joined the electoral fray. 

The voting is scheduled to commence at 7 AM across 7,303 polling stations and continue until 6 PM, with variations in closing times for remote areas due to Maoist activities. 

A total of 62.87 lakh electors, including 31.89 lakh women, are eligible to cast their votes, with women outnumbering male electors. 

With 53,000 polling personnel involved, 715 all-women booths and 39 booths catered to persons with disabilities ensure inclusivity in the voting process.

Andhra Pradesh: YSRCP MLA and candidate for state assembly elections, A Sivakumar attacks a voter in Tenali, Guntur. The voter, who was standing in a queue to cast his vote, objected to the MLA's attempt to jump the line and cast his vote without waiting. The MLA, in turn, physically assaulted the voter.
