Telangana election: AIMIM Chief Owaisi hits back at UP CM Adityanath over his 'flee Hyderabad' jibe
Addressing an election rally at Tandur town of Vikarabad district, Adityanath also claimed that Owaisi's party did "only Muslim appeasement politics".
New Delhi: Massive war of words broke out between Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and AIMIM Chief Owaisi in poll-bound Telangana on Sunday. CM Yogi asked Owaisi to flee from Telangana. Yogi has vouched that if BJP comes to power, Owaisi will have to run from Telangana, like Nizams had to run away from Hyderabad.
"If BJP forms government in Telangana, I can tell you that Owaisi will have to run away just like Nizam was compelled to run away from Hyderabad. BJP will give security to all but will not allow those who spread anarchy", he said.
Addressing an election rally at Tandur town of Vikarabad district, Adityanath also claimed that Owaisi's party did "only Muslim appeasement politics".
Owaisi hits back at Yogi:
Hitting back at CM Yogi, Owaisi said that CM is not worried about Gorakhpur. Owaisi said “I question him, since when has he been talking about making me run away? You are not worried about your constituency Gorakhpur where every year hundreds of kids die due to diseases.” He further questioned that “if I speak against PM Modi and BJP, will they make me leave the country as well”?
"Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan did not flee Hyderabad. He was made 'Raj Pramukh' and when there was war with China, he offered his gold to India," said Owaisi.
The MP said he would not be scared by such threats and propaganda. "This is only Yogi's speech but the language and mentality is of Prime Minister Narendra Modi," he said.
