ABP News-CVoter Himachal Opinion Poll 2022: Election Commission of India (ECI) on Friday, October 14, announced the poll date for the Himachal Pradesh assembly. Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar announced that the polling for the 68-member Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly will take place on November 12 and the counting of votes will take place on December 8.


With the schedule announcement by EC, the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) comes into effect. As the election bugle has been blown, ABP News in partnership with CVoter has conducted a survey to gauge the mood of the voters ahead of the crucial Himachal assembly election 2022.






ABP News-CVoter Himachal Opinion Poll 2022 — Vote Share Percentage


The incumbent BJP will hold the largest vote share percentage followed by Congress in the upcoming Himachal assembly election 2022. As per the latest ABP-CVoter survey, BJP will be able to get 46% of the vote share, while Congress will obtain 35.2% of the total vote share.


While BJP is in command as per the latest ABP News-CVoter Opinion Poll, the overall vote share has dipped from the 2017 Himachal assembly poll. New entrant Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will have a vote share of 6.3%, still lower than the others as of now.


ABP News-CVoter Himachal Opinion Poll 2022 — Seat Range Projection


Despite a fall in the vote share percentage, BJP will easily be able to cross the magic figure of 35 assembly seats in the Himachal Pradesh 2022 Vidhan Sabha poll, as per the ABP-CVoter latest survey. Congress will remain in the seat range of 20 to 28, while AAP will swing between zero and one seat.


The tenure of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly is scheduled to end on January 8, 2023.
