The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday took a significant step in its preparations for the forthcoming Rajasthan Assembly Elections by revealing its initial selection of 23 candidates. First on the list is, Dr Harish Raheja, who has been fielded from Ganganagar seat. It is to be noted that Raheja is going up against BJP's Jaydeep Bihani, who fought the 2018 polls as an independent after being denied a ticket by Congress.
Dhanna Ram Meghwal is running for the Raisinghnagar (SC) seat, Mahant Roopnath is running for the Bhadra assembly seat, Rajendra Mavar is running for Pilani (SC), and Vijendra Dotasara is running for Nawalgarh.
The Congress party released the third list of candidates for the upcoming Rajasthan assembly elections earlier in the day. Congress has so far announced 95 candidates for the upcoming elections, with 19 names on this list. Narendra Budania from Taranagar assembly seat, Pusaram Godara from Ratangarh, Ramkesh Meena from Gangapur, Rakesh Pareek from Masuda, and Heera Lal Darangi from Jhalod were among the names mentioned.

On Saturday and Sunday, the first two lists of candidates were released. The names of 43 candidates were on the second list, and 33 candidates were on the first.

Raghu Sharma from Kekri, Pratap Khachariyawas from Civil Lines, and Vishvendra Singh from Deeg-Kumher were on the second list.
Rajasthan assembly elections will be held on November 27, with results expected on December 3.
In the 2018 Assembly elections, Congress won 100 seats. The BJP came in second with 73 seats, while the BSP received six. The Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) received three seats, while the Communist Party of India (Marxist) and the Bhartiya Tribal Party (BTP) each received two. In the 2018 Assembly Elections, the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) won only one seat, while there were 13 independent candidates.
