Yavatmal-Washim: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Gawali Bhavana Pundlikrao from Shiv Sena (SHS) won the elections by a margin of 93816 votes. The polling / voting in Yavatmal-Washim constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 1 on 11 April. The major contest is between Shiv Sena#s Bhavana Gawali and Congress Party#s Manikrao g. Thakare

Yavatmal-Washim 2014 Lok Sabha Polls

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 23 out of the 48 parliamentary seat with 27.3 percent vote share while the Shiv Sena managed to win just 18 seats with a 20.6 percent vote share.

Voter turnout in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections in Yavatmal-Washim Lok Sabha Lok Sabha constituency. The total voter turnout was 59.25% Lok Sabha percent with 63.95% Lok Sabha percent male voters turning out to cast their votes. Out of the 26 Lok Sabha candidates who contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Yavatmal-Washim, 24 had to deposit their security. The voters gave their mandate in favour of Gawali Bhavana Pundlikrao of the Shiv Sena as he defeated Adv.Shivajirao Shivaramji Moghe by a margin of 93816 votes.
