PM Modi announces successful testing of A-SAT missile; opposition takes a dig | updates

Parbhani: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Jadhav Sanjay (Bandu) Haribhau from Shiv Sena (SHS) won the elections by a margin of 127155 votes. The polling / voting in Parbhani constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 2 on 18 April. The major contest is between Shiv Sena#s Sanjay Haribhau Jadhav and Nationalist Congress Party#s Rajesh Vitekar

Parbhani 2014 Lok Sabha Polls

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 23 out of the 48 parliamentary seat with 27.3 percent vote share while the Shiv Sena managed to win just 18 seats with a 20.6 percent vote share.

Voter turnout in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections in Parbhani Lok Sabha Lok Sabha constituency. The total voter turnout was 64.43% Lok Sabha percent with 67.44% Lok Sabha percent male voters turning out to cast their votes. Meanwhile, 61.11% Lok Sabha percent of the women voters cast their votes and 17502 Lok Sabha voters pressed on the NOTA

Out of the 17 Lok Sabha candidates who contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Parbhani, 15 had to deposit their security. The voters gave their mandate in favour of Jadhav Sanjay (Bandu) Haribhau of the Shiv Sena as he defeated Bhambale Vijay Manikrao by a margin of 127155 votes.

  • 1999 Lok Sabha Elections: In 13th Lok Sabha election, Shiv Sena candidate defeated Indian National Congress candidate with a difference of 43665 votes. Here, Shiv Sena leader Jadhav Suresh Ramrao attained 254019 votes and Indian National Congress candidate Jamkar Raosaheb Bapusaheb bagged 210354 votes
  • 1998 Lok Sabha Elections: In 12th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated Shiv Sena candidate with a difference of 45493 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Warpudkar Sureshrao Ambadasrao attained 320415 votes and Shiv Sena candidate Adv. Suresh Ramrao Jadhav (Patil) bagged 274922 votes
  • 1996 Lok Sabha Elections: In 11th Lok Sabha poll, Shiv Sena candidate defated Indian National Congress candidate in one-sided contest. Here, SHS candidate Jadhav Suresh Ramrao attained 230762 votes and INC's Deshmukh Ashok Anand Rao bagged 115887 votes.
  • 1991 Lok Sabha Elections: In 10th Lok Sabha election, Shiv Sena candidate defeated JD candidate with a difference of 20161 votes. Here, Shiv Sena leader Deshmukh Ashokrao Anandrao attained 143293 votes and JD candidate Bangar Pratap Ganpatrao bagged 123132 votes
