Panchmahal: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Chauhan Prabhatsinh Pratapsinh from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 170596 votes. The polling / voting in Panchmahal constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 3 on 23 April. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Ratan Singh and Congress Party#s Vk khant

Panchmahal 2014 Lok Sabha Polls

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 26 out of the 26 parliamentary seat with 60.11 percent vote share while the Indian National Congress managed to win just seats with a 33.45 percent vote share.

Voter turnout in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections in Panchmahal Lok Sabha Lok Sabha constituency. • 1962 Lok Sabha Elections: In Third Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated SWA candidate with a difference of 16233 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Dahyabhai Jivanji Naik attained 85380 votes and SWA candidate Pratapsinh Hirabhai Patel bagged 69147 votes
• 1957 Lok Sabha Elections: In Second Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated IND candidate with a difference of 11038 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Gandhi Maneklal Maganlal attained 92221 votes and IND candidate Patel Pratapsing Hirabhai bagged 81183 votes
• 1951 Lok Sabha Elections: In India's Very First Lok Sabha Polls, interesting battle could be seen between Indian National Congress and ; here Indian National Congress candidate defeated his counterpart with a difference of 0 votes.

Pass percentage for 1st year boys is 53.14% and for 1st year girls is 62.2%. The pass percentage for 2nd year boys is 58.25% and for 2nd year girls is 71.5%.
