Nagarkurnool: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Yellaiah Nandi from Indian National Congress (INC) won the elections by a margin of 16676 votes. The polling / voting in Nagarkurnool constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 1 on 11 April. The major contest is between Telangana Rashtra Samithi#s P Ramulu and Congress Party#s Dr. Mallu ravi

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Telangana Rashtra Samithi won 11 out of the 17 parliamentary seat with 33.9 percent vote share while the Congress managed to win just 2 seats with a 20.5 percent vote share.

• 1998 Lok Sabha Elections: In 12th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated Telugu Desam Party candidate with a difference of 19675 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Dr.Mallu Ravi attained 329127 votes and Telugu Desam Party candidate Dr. Manda Jagannath bagged 309452 votes
• 1996 Lok Sabha Elections: In 11th Lok Sabha election, Telugu Desam Party candidate had defeated Indian National Congress candidate by a margin of 76375 votes TDP candidate M. Jagannath had got 368134 while INC got Mallu Ravi votes.
