Khammam: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy from YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) won the elections by a margin of 12204 votes. The polling / voting in Khammam constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 1 on 11 April. The major contest is between Telangana Rashtra Samithi#s Nama Nageswara Rao and Congress Party#s Smt.renuka choudhary

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Telangana Rashtra Samithi won 11 out of the 17 parliamentary seat with 33.9 percent vote share while the Congress managed to win just 2 seats with a 20.5 percent vote share.

Out of the 27 Lok Sabha candidates who contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Khammam, 25 had to deposit their security. The voters gave their mandate in favour of Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy of the YSR Congress Party as he defeated Nama Nageswara Rao by a margin of 12204 votes.

• 2004 Lok Sabha Elections: In 14th Lok Sabha poll, Indian National Congress candidate defated Telugu Desam Party candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate Renuka Chowdhury attained 518047 votes and TDP's Nama Nageswara Rao bagged 409159 votes.
• 1999 Lok Sabha Elections: In 13th Lok Sabha election, interesting battle could be seen between Indian National Congress and Telugu Desam Party here Indian National Congress candidate defeated his Telugu Desam Party counterpart with a difference of 8398 votes.
• 1998 Lok Sabha Elections: In 12th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated Communist Party of India candidate with a difference of 11664 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Nadendla Bhaskar Rao attained 363747 votes and Communist Party of India candidate Thammineni Veerabhadram bagged 352083 votes
• 1996 Lok Sabha Elections: In 11th Lok Sabha election, Communist Party of India candidate had defeated Indian National Congress candidate by a margin of 63291 votes CPM candidate Veerabhadram Tammineni had got 374675 while INC got P.V. Rangaiah Naidu votes.
• 1991 Lok Sabha Elections: In 10th Lok Sabha election, interesting battle could be seen between Indian National Congress and Communist Party of India here Indian National Congress candidate defeated his Communist Party of India counterpart with a difference of 5918 votes.
• 1989 Lok Sabha Elections: In Ninth Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated Communist Party of India candidate by a margin of 59252 votes INC candidate Jalagam Vengal Rao had got 388461 while CPM got Radhakrishna Murthy Yelamanchili votes.

• 1962 Lok Sabha Elections: In Third Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated CPI candidate with a difference of 12060 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader T. Lakshikantamma attained 163806 votes and CPI candidate T.B. Vittal Rao bagged 151746 votes
• 1957 Lok Sabha Elections: In Second Lok Sabha election, interesting battle could be seen between Indian National Congress and INC here Indian National Congress candidate defeated his INC counterpart with a difference of 5537 votes.
• 1951 Lok Sabha Elections: In India's Very First Lok Sabha Polls, PDF candidate had defeated INC candidate by a margin of 72632 votes PDF candidate T. B. Vittala Rao had got 101223 while INC got Gadiuirm Krishna Reddy votes.

पूर्व विदेश मंत्री सलमान खुर्शीद ने कहा कि बटला हाउस एनकाउंटर पर सोनिया गांधी रोई नहीं थीं. ये बात गलत है, मैंने ऐसा कभी नहीं कहा. सोनिया गांधी ने बटला हाउस के एनकाउंटर की तस्वीरें देखने से मना किया कि इस तरह की तस्वीरें नहीं देखी जा सकती हैं. बात सिर्फ इतनी ही है.

पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री सलमान खुर्शीद ने कहा कि सरकार कोई फैसला तो ले, हम सरकार के साथ हैं. लेकिन सरकार न तो किसी की सलाह ले रही है न कुछ कड़े कदम उठा रही है. देश का मतलब सिर्फ मोदी नहीं है, पीएम मोदी किसी और को कुछ करने नहीं देते हैं.

पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री सलमान खुर्शीद ने कहा कि नरेंद्र मोदी पहले बोलते थे कि आतंकवाद के चलते पाकिस्तान के साथ बात नहीं होगी लेकिन पीएम बनते ही सबसे पहले पाक हुक्मरानों के गले लग गए. हमने किसी को तोहफे नहीं दिए और न ही किसी को बिरयानी खिलाई.
