Damoh: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Prahalad Singh Patel from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 213299 votes. The polling / voting in Damoh constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 5 on 6 May. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Prahlad Patel and Congress Party#s Pratap singh lodhi

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 27 out of the 29 parliamentary seat with 54 percent vote share while the Indian National Congress managed to win just 2 seats with a 34.9 percent vote share.

2014 में एक भी सीट नहीं जीत पाने वाली बीएसपी 30 सीटों पर जीत दर्ज कर सकती है. वहीं प्रियंका गांधी का कांग्रेस को कोई फायदा नहीं मिलता दिख रहा. कांग्रेस पहले की तरह इस बार भी दो सीटों पर ही सिमट जाएगी.

यूपी की 80 में से 56 सीटें महागठबंधन को मिल रही हैं. जबकि 2014 में 71 सीटें जीतने वाली बीजेपी महज 22 सीटों पर सिमटती दिख रही है. कांग्रेस के खाते में 2014 की 2 सीटें ही आती दिख रही हैं.

अवध की 23 सीटों में से 14 महागठबंधन के खाते में जा सकती हैं. जबकि बीजेपी को 7 सीटें और कांग्रेस को 2 सीटें मिल सकती हैं.

पश्चिमी यूपी की 27 सीटों में से बीजेपी को सिर्फ 6 सीटें मिलती दिख रही हैं. वहीं महागठबंधन के खाते में 21 सीटें जा सकती हैं. कांग्रेस का खाता भी नहीं खुलता दिख रहा.
