The Supreme Court of India will hear a plea regarding the transparency of NEET PG 2024 results on October 25. A group of students filed the petition, alleging discrepancies in the results and sudden changes to the exam pattern. The NEET PG 2024 counselling schedule has not yet been declared, as the case is pending in the top court. In the last hearing, the court was expected to address concerns raised by aspirants about last-minute changes to the NEET PG exam pattern and the lack of transparency in the results. However, the session was postponed due to the absence of a representative from the Union of India.
The Medical Counselling Committee commenced the Round 1 registration process for NEET PG Counselling on September 20, 2024, with the registration link activated on the official website. Each candidate is permitted to submit only one NEET PG Counselling application/registration form. Submitting multiple applications will result in disqualification from the counselling process, cancellation of candidature, and potential further action as deemed appropriate by the MCC of DGHS, MoHFW.
Candidates who have qualified for NEET PG are eligible to participate in the counselling. There will be four rounds of counselling: Round 1, Round 2, a third round, and the Stray Vacancy Round, all conducted by MCC.
