Ayodhya Deepotsav 2024: Ayodhya is gearing up for a grand celebration of Deepotsav 2024, combining spirituality, devotion, and modern technology in a unique way. This year’s festival is set to be larger and more exciting than ever, with a range of new attractions that promise to make the event unforgettable for devotees and visitors alike.

Mega Drone Show

One of the major highlights of this year’s event will be Ayodhya’s first-ever drone show, a spectacular 15-minute display involving 500 drones. These drones will take to the skies over the iconic Saryu Ghat and Ram Ki Paadi, creating vivid images of revered figures like Lord Ram, Laxman, and Hanuman, as well as iconic scenes from the Ramayana, including Ravana’s defeat, the Pushpak Vimana, and the Ram Darbar.

This aerial spectacle will blend devotion with cutting-edge technology, offering a unique visual experience for all attendees. The drone show is expected to be a major attraction, drawing thousands of spectators.

A New World Record Awaits

Deepotsav 2024 will also set a new world record by lighting more than 2.5 million diyas (lamps), adding to the grandeur and spiritual ambience of the event. With the recent installation of Lord Ram’s idol in his temple after a historic gap of 500 years, this year’s festival carries added significance for the people of Ayodhya and devotees worldwide.

The event, which will run from October 28 to 31, will feature a mix of traditional rituals, cultural performances, and modern attractions that celebrate the return of Lord Ram to Ayodhya after his 14-year exile. The Yogi Adityanath government has left no stone unturned in ensuring that Deepotsav 2024 becomes a landmark event in the city's history.
